Print Competition – Round 1 of 2 (OPEN), and Rosebowl

Tonight we have Round 1 of our print competition. There’s no theme tonight – the second round, on 27 January 2026, will have the theme ‘people’.

Prints, carefully mounted, will be displayed (anoymously) for all to review.  The judge will then consider and provide feedback for each image in turn, give each one a score out of 20, and select 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed images.

The points awarded count toward the Print League.

Please try to arrive by 7.45 to help set up, hand over your images and scan the competition before we start promptly at 8pm.

Rosebowl

It’s also Round one of the Rosebowl, the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs (CACC) projected image competition.

There is no theme to any of the rounds.  Images to represent St Albans have already been selected.  In this round we’ll be up against Marlow (the host) and Pinner, and you can watch the event live over Zoom if not attending the print competition.

We’ll host Round 2 on Tuesday 20 January 2026.

There are 3 rounds followed by a finals day in April 2026.
