“Syria 2010 (and after): Heritage Lost and Found” and “Landscape Critique”

November 25, 2025 @ 20:00 - 22:00

Juliet Morton – “Syria 2010 (and after): Heritage found and lost”

Club member Juliet will recall her trip to Syria in 2010 and tell the story of what’s been lost since.

After tea……..

Jeremy Fraser-Mitchell – “Landscape Critique”

“I acquired my first DSLR for my 18th birthday – a Ricoh (Pentax) film camera. I have stayed loyal to the brand, went digital (Pentax *isT) in 2005, currently using Pentax K1-ii (with a recently acquired OM1-I as my “travel camera”). I joined Park Street Camera Club in 2010-11, and became a member of Royal Photographic Society in 2017/18 at the same time as receiving their Licentiate Distinction. I am a member of 3 of the RPS Special Interest Groups – Digital Imaging, Landscape, & Travel. I joined one of the Landscape Group’s critique circles in Sept 2019.

I’ll talk about how the critique circle works, and discuss some of my recent images.”
