Preview of the Season and a Little Lecture – ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane?’

In our first meeting in the hall, we’ll review this season’s programme – all the competitions, speakers, workshops and outings lined up so far.  We always welcome ideas, especially those with a volunteer attached.

Tony will share the plans for our new ‘Development Portfolio’ competition, running throughout the year and culminating in reviews on 28 April and 12 May 2026.  Everyone is invited to explore a new genre, new techniques, old kit, new kit – whatever you’d like to do. And everyone is asked to help others with advice, coaching and constructive feedback.

After the tea break, our much travelled Chris Bennett will present ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane?’  How do you prepare? What do you take? How do you pack? How do you make sure you’re on the right airline? How do you insure? What do you bring back?

Of course, your stories, lessons and to tips will be very welcome too.
