We joined the St Albans Visual Arts Festival over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, running a series of workshops for portrait photography and light painting. All four were very busy and most sold out. Families were particularly welcome.
Just like in the club, attendees had a whole range of experience and cameras of many makes with many seldom-used functions. Everyone learned a bit, especially our facilitators.
We’re really grateful to the Collective Gallery for lending us their space and being so generous with their time and advice. We’re also delighted that we raised some funds for Herts Young Homeless, the festival’s chosen charity.
