The first round of the prints competition saw Helen Cullens come in with the winning entries in BOTH Colour and Mono Categories. The judge was Terry Coffey, and the marks were pretty high all round - hopefully a reflection of the standard of the images.

Helen informs me that the winning colour picture "Autumn Colours" was taken on a club weekend away, and the trees are located in Beresford Dale. The print was made on "Permajet Parchment" paper, which gave it an added quality that was remarked on by sereval members.
Helen's winning print in mono "Iztuzu" was printed on Permajet Fibre Base Royal 325 for those who are keen to know how she does it!
